Hi! Hello! I’m not dead yet!
I’m not dead, but I have been very busy lately. Mostly with the regular problems that life likes to throw our way. I’m sure anyone can relate.
But! I have been writing. And that’s a good thing.
First, I got a new eReader recently. It’s nothing fancy, just the Xteink X4. It’s a really small, pocket sized device. With it, I was able to finish reading eight books in January. So, that’s pretty decent.
Reading more has been inspiring me to write more. So, I’ve also been working at that.
I hesitate to say anything detailed, but I’ve been working on some little…one shots? Short stories. I’m not working on anything too fancy or elaborate. In fact, you could say I’m taking a break from my longer works.
I’ve been playing with some smaller ideas. Partly because I’ve been reading more, but also because I’ve been really busy. I haven’t had time to sit down long enough to focus and write. Working on bite-sized stuff takes less planning.
Also, I’m really bad at short stories and one-shots. Like, really bad. So, I may as well work on that and improve, right?
Anyway, that’s it. That’s the update. Sorry that I don’t have anything more exciting to say or an actual story to post.
