You might see this and be thinking to yourself, “Huh… The Little Oni website is looking suspiciously different. What’s going on?”
Um… Well… I kind of moved the site?
Yeah, so, before this I was using Wix. Which is…fine, I guess? It has a lot of neat features. But they have it in their TOS that they use your content for AI training. And, looking at WordPress, they allow you to opt out of the AI training. I’d rather avoid having my work being constantly run through AI, so…
I moved the site over to WordPress! And here we are.
I also decided to be more simple with the website style. Those who remember the Wix site will notice a lot of differences. Before, the site was very bright and flashy. And now I’ve moved over to a more simple style.
I think that better suits what I’m trying to do? I just want a place to post my writing. So, why not keep things a little less flashy, a little more clean, and lean more text-heavy? Seems reasonable to me.
2025,has been a really bad year for me. So I’m kind of hoping to start fresh in 2026. Maybe I need to give everything a new look. it might be for the best, you know?
